The Kyosk App ensures that retail outlets get access to quality products at competitive prices and have them delivered directly to them. Kiosk owners can choose their delivery window and method of payment which varies by country.
Manufacturers and Distributors of FMCGs find the traditional distribution chain to be inadequate as well, making it expensive for them to serve kiosk-type retail outlets, leading to high incidences of product stock-outs and lost sales opportunities. By providing FMCGs with good data visibility, and last-mile delivery the Kyosk solution solves this major problem of theirs. Over time kiosks develop a trust relationship with us by providing them with quality products and service. This trust relationship serves as a launchpad for offering additional tech-enabled services directly to the retailers, or to the end consumers who frequent the outlets.
Our Ulima Approach
First, we run pilots region by region using our own Field Agents. Then we train farmers who have completed our pilots to run further pilots (to drive viral growth). Lastly, we use technology to help franchisee farmers bring onboard more farmers and run pilots while leveraging our app for information as well as to reach service providers (insurance, finance, inputs, mechanization, etc).
